Now is your chance! All Weymouth Town Council seats and three School Committee seats are up for election this year. If you've ever considered public service, there's never been a better time to get involved and help shape Weymouth’s future.

Seats Up for Election in 2025

 Town Council At-Large

• 5 seats (2-year term)

• 150 signatures required (25 from each of the 6 districts)

 District Councilor

• 6 seats (2-year term)

• 100 signatures required (All must be from voters in the candidate’s district)

 School Committee

• 3 seats (4-year term)

• 150 signatures required (25 from each of the 6 districts)

How to Get Started:

Nomination papers will be available starting Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Town Clerk’s Office at Town Hall. Before receiving your nomination papers, you must file a brief statement with the Clerk’s Office that includes:

• Your name

• Your address

• The town office you intend to run for

Key Election Dates

• Preliminary Town Election: September 16, 2025

• General Town Election: November 4, 2025
